SUMMARY:
The Senior Quality Assurance ( QA ) Lead participates directly in defining, leading and implementing software test guidelines and standards The Senior QA Lead will analyzes business, technical and functional requirements, transferring them into supporting test plans and executes those test plans while adhering to software test guidelines and standards QA Test Lead should have worked on ALM latest versions R12X
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Should have good knowledge of ALM 120 modules like Test Plan, Test Lab, Test Management and DashboardShould have knowledge of creating queries in Oracle PL/SQLShould have exposure on testing webservices with tools like SOAP UI or similar toolsThe incumbent should be technically oriented and should have experience of integration testing to ensure different components in web based applications are working as expected
Work closely with functional BA s to understand the functional flow of new/modified functionality and then write functional test casesParticipate in critical analysis, design, and change review meetings for software developed in house, by outside third parties, as part of packaged, commercial, off the shelf application platforms or Software as a Service platforms that may be modified or configured to suit project and business requirementsParticipate in the communication and analysis of test results and patterns, providing a feedback loop to requirements gathering, design and development teamsServe as QA Testing Team leader for specific projects or products, overseeing and administering work assignments and results of an extended onsite/offsite team
Ensuring appropriate allocation and coverage to satisfy and ensure quality deliveryExperience in automation testing with UFT will be an added advantageExperience of publishing Management status reports, have worked in Onshore / Offshore modelExperience with working in Global QA teamExperience in SDLC, Waterfall, and Agile preferredAbility to manage simultaneous initiatives in an entrepreneurial cultureEnsuring all development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking
Supervise software quality Analysts, oversees and participates in the creation of test design, Test Plan, Test Strategy and testing requirementsLead the development and execution of test strategy for upcoming product releasesAdvise the project manager on the overall quality of a project through established channelsCreate and maintain testing progress and quality reportsIdentify opportunities to drive higher quality and improved efficiency in the test cycleResource planning and management of the offshore team

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline with at least 8- 9 years of related work experience in QA Field3 years experience in QA working on Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning / Oracle eBusiness Suite required Experience with Microsoft, Java and / or UNIX platforms or applications environment highly desirable Experience in tower business, operations, leasing and/or real estate a plus but not required
